Are your products vegan?
Yes, all of our products and the ingredients used to create the products are 100% vegan and cruelty free.
Are your products 100% natural?
There is no legal definition of the term 'natural' and therefore can be interpreted in many ways. The term 'natural' should actually be thought of in terms of a spectrum, ranging from natural to synthetic. Our products include ingredients that are natural, or nature derived ( with minimal processing, refined, or processed with a synthetic chemical).
In some of our soap bars, body scrubs and body washes we use naturally derived fragrance oils. These are oils that cannot be extracted naturally from its source and must be processed via synthetic chemicals. If you are wanting to steer clear of all fragrance oils they are clearly listed in ingredients lists.
Are your products preservative free?
Some of our products are preservative free, and some are not. Products that include water in the formula need to contain a preservative otherwise bacteria can grow in the product. This would spoil the product within a few weeks but could also be harmful to your body to use. If you purchase any product containing water or water soluble products without a preservative, you are risk of using an unsafe products.
Products that include a preservative:
- Body scrubs
What's the shelf life of your products?
Our products don't have use by dates as they have not been officially tested and we can't legally give them use by date. Our general rule is 6-12 months for most products. This is when the product will remain its freshest, however after this time they will begin to lose their scent. Products kept longer than 12 months are still safe to use but just won't be as fresh as when you bought them. If you have any concerns regarding a specific product please email us.
Your soap looks good enough to eat! They're natural... so they're edible yeah?
We get this a lot. We know how soaps look yummy. We've been told they look like chocolate, cheese, cake or fudge. While all of our ingredients are naturally derived and most are edible before the soap making process, the soapification process makes them inedible. Please do not eat our soap bars. If you or a child happen to ingest some of our soap bars please wash your mouth thoroughly and see a doctor if concerned.

Do any of your proceeds go to charity?
Yes! We are so excited to be partnered with Soap Aid Australia. For every item purchased we donate one soap bar to a child in need across Australia and around the world to help fight child deaths due to poor hygiene. To read more about this see our 'Giving Back' tab above.
What exactly does 'vee.p' mean/stand for?
Most people think 'vee.p' is an acronym, however it's actually a play on our founders name. Creator Vanessa has had many nicknames - Vaness, Ness, Nessa, Nessie, Nesquik, Vannan, Egg (long story!), VP (her initials - before she got married), and Vee. 'Vee. P' is a combination of 'Vee' and 'VP'.
So is it 'veep' or 'vee pee'?
Initially, 'vee pee'. However, we call it both, just depends whats on what we're feelin'. As you can see above, Vanessa wasn't fussed on what she was called so you can say it however you like.
